Problems, problems, problems.. I bought this bike and have so far put 930 miles on it, did the first oil change at 650 miles and have never brought it above 6000 RPM. The first sign that this bike might be having problems came shortly after I bought it, and rode in to work. I was at a stop, in neutral and pulled the clutch in. Bike died.

2 posts · Joined 2016. #31 · Nov 16, 2016. So the dealer has had by AT for a day. They checked the spark plug gaps, the ignition coil wiring and the MAP sensor hose for kinks. Once these have been ruled out as causing problems, then Honda will authorise a replacement starter / kill switch. This will be done next week.

Had an incident yesterday and would like to tell and maybe get feedback. I am riding an Africa Twin 2020 Adventure Sport DCT bought in May 2020, never had DCT before, only manual 1. The first time it happened when I was on the road in the mountains. My ATAS was fully loaded with hard panniers and a lady on the passenger seat.
This continual draining prematurely aged the battery. Replaced battery 1 with another Yuasa AGM at 18,820 miles on 3/16/22, $75. USB port had been removed which kept the battery from slowly draining. When replaced, the battery would no longer hold a charge. 2 years, 5 months & 16,365 miles worth of life.
